Last night this years Teen Choice Awards took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in California. These awards honor the year's biggest achievements in genres such as music, movies, sports, television and fashion. The teen part comes from the voting, as all awards are voted for by teen viewers aged 13 through 19.
Demi Lovato stole the show in her Falguni & Shane dress
It was an X Factor US judge that stole the red carpet, or should I say purple carpet, last night, 19 year old Demi Lovato wore a textured Falguni & Shane dress which she teamed with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. The dramatic dress was a sparkly, graphic, black and canary yellow ensemble with subtle feathers at the bottom. Falling to mid thigh it certainly showed off the stars toned legs.
Holland Roden opted for sophistication in this Alice & Olivia dress
Teen Wolf star Holland Roden opted for a fit and flare Alice & Olivia dress. The gold print dress fell elegantly to her knees and she paired them with the ultimate red carpet accessory, Christian Louboutin heels.
Zoe Saldana wore a Jonathan Saunders top and skirt combo
American actress Zoe Saldana graced the event in a skirt and top combo by Jonathan Saunders. She looked naturally beautiful in the green and gold print ensemble which she chose to team with Christian Louboutin sandals.
Carly Rae Jepsen wore this Lisa Ho skirt suit
Carly Rae Jepsen, famous for her hit single, Call Me Maybe ditched the usual dress attire for such an event and wore a Lisa Ho blazer and skirt suit. The cream suit with black detailing definitely added a level of maturity to the star. She finished her look with a pair of black heeled court shoes from Aldo.
Hannah Simone chose this colourful creation by Mary Katrounzou
Canadian Television Host, Hannah Simone looked stunning in a mid thigh length Mary Katrounzou dress. The sleeveless V-neck floral-print dress flared at the bottom.
Selena Gomez went for simple in this pop coloured Dsquared2 dress
American actress and singer Selena Gomez went for a simple look in a Dsquared2 skater dress although the flourescent pink colour certainly popped. Selena wore Herve Lager sandals to finish her look.
Taylor Swift went for elegance in this Maria Lucia Hohan gown
Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift went for pure elegance in this sweet apron dress. The Maria Lucia Hohan creation was worn with a pair of cream open toed shoes.
Justin Bieber wore a designer concoction for his casual look
Justin Bieber - teenage heart-throb and boyfriend of Selena Gomez went for a designer medley last night. He teamed a Dolce & Gabanna t-shirt with Marc Jacob trousers and Supra sneakers. Although casual he certainly looked like Mr Cool and we're sure Selena approved.
Zac Efron was dressed head to toe in Lanvin
High School Musical actor, Zac Efron went for a more smart casual look in sand and black. The star was dressed head to toe in Lanvin. This look definitely sits well with the star.
Jordin Sparks looks unflattering in this Chagoury Couture dress
As always someone doesn't quite get it right and on this occasion singer Jordin Sparks takes home that gong, or in this instance the surfboard. She wore a black halter neck Chagoury Couture dress which poofs out at the waist and Prada shoes but unfortunately the dress didn't do anything for her. In fact the cut and fall was rather unflattering on the star.
