Only half of the judges panel from season two of The X Factor will be new for season three now that Demi Lovato is confirmed to return for her second season on the singing show. Britney Spears and L.A. Reid are definitely not coming back, but of course Simon Cowell will return. He said of Lovato, “She’s a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year.”
