Maggie Wetterling is the daughter of Vince and Amanda Wetterling. She has a younger brother, Tanner, and then one cat and two dogs. When it comes to school and community, she is involved in volleyball, NHS, drama, and speech. Her hobbies include listening to music, playing piano, singing, and hanging out with her friends. As a matter of fact, her favorite summer was the summer of 2012. The specifics of that summer comprise of hanging out with her closest friends, watching rodeos, camping with friends, listening to great music, and being care-free. “My go-to music is “Wonderful” by Janet Devlin, because that song cheers me up on bad days! She’s absolutely amazing!”
“Oh boy! Are you really going to make me pick my favorite food? Haha! I don’t have a favorite. Food is my best friend!” And as to her favorite animal, her response was Husky. Why? “Because they are such a beautiful animal and I love them!” Then there was the question “who do you idolize?” Maggie’s reply: “I idolize multiple people, but to name one, that would be Demi Lovato, because I think she’s strong, brave, and a good person.”
Being in speech stands to reason that Maggie likes language and the such. Is it any surprise that her favorite language is British? Not really. Why? “Because I love the way they talk, and sometimes I randomly talk like them!” As her friends, we know.
“My best memory is my sixteenth birthday because I received my necklace from my grandparents. It’s my good luck charm and it goes everywhere with me!” So Maggie’s biggest fear is losing someone she loves and… spiders. Why the spiders? Because she absolutely hates them!
“My favorite book? Well here’s the thing, I’m a book nerd so I read almost anything! My favorite is 19 Minutes by Jodi Picoult, but I could read any of her books and love them!”
School is one of Maggie’s priorities. When she was asked what she learned this year, her response was “a lot of medical terms, more about college, which is scary, and more about my future.” Well it’s a good thing that she took Medical Terminology because her future goals are to become a nurse and put smiles on total strangers faces… and then try out for the Voice!
Well Maggie, good luck with the rest of your high school career! I hope your dreams come true!
