Will we be referring to Demi Lovato as “Grammy Award-winning artist Demi Lovato” after her upcoming album drops? The “Cool for the Summer” singer hopes so.

When Lovato isn’t too busy shooting music videos with action film stars and collaborating with gal pal Iggy Azalea, the multi-talented songstress is appearing on the latest cover of Complex magazine.

During the coinciding interview, Lovato was asked about her favorite track on her forthcoming album. You might think Demi would choose her vibrant anthem “Cool for the Summer” or title track “Confident,” but Lovato selected “Stone Cold,” a ballad the performer describes as an “extremely soulful, almost Motown type of song.”

It’s not only Lovato’s personal favorite, but it’s a track that just may help Demi achieve her ultimate goal concerning her new album.

“I just want to be nominated for one [Grammy],” Lovato told Complex. “You can’t go higher than the Grammys in the music industry. That was a huge goal for this album. I watched the Grammy nominations last year and I was like, ‘I want to be there so bad.’ It really gave me that kick in the ass to make music that was worthy of it. [“Stone Cold”] is a song that I feel like is worthy of notification.”

After listening to this recently released preview of “Stone Cold,” we tend to agree.

Lovato’s fifth album, Confident, will be released on October 16, 2015.

Demi Lovato Reveals How She Met Good Friend Iggy Azalea -

Demi Lovato and Iggy Azalea seem like they’ve been friends for years, but the “Cool for the Summer” singer revealed to Complex that they only met last year at a Halloween party.

Demi attended Jennifer Lopez‘s 2014 Halloween bash with her longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and felt “a little socially awkward” because she wasn’t drinking. Demi noticed that Iggy was completely sober, too, so she decided to approach the raptress and comment on her music.

“I’m kind of a little socially awkward when it comes to parties and going out because I feel like, unless you’re going to get f**ked up, everybody’s awkward,” she told Complex. “Since I don’t do that anymore, and Iggy wasn’t drinking — she doesn’t do anything — I was kind of like, ‘Hey. I’m a big fan. I love your music.’ We start talking, and it turns out that we’re neighbors and we didn’t even know.”

And the rest is history: Demi will be a bridesmaid at Iggy’s wedding to Los Angeles Lakers’ Nick Young, and the two have a collaboration, entitled “Kingdom Come,” off the the pop star’s Confident album. The record drops on October 16.

Demi Lovato revealed in her recent interview with Complex magazine that she doesn’t really count Selena Gomez among her celebrity friends anymore, but these days, she is close with Iggy Azalea.

In fact, the two stars are so tight, Lovato is serving as a bridesmaid in Azalea’s upcoming wedding to NBA player Nick Young.

So, naturally, the “Cool For The Summer” singer knows a lot of inside info about her sometimes-controversial BFF, including whether or not her – ahem – ‘assets’ are all-natural.

While guesting on BBC Radio 1’s “The School Run,” which features celebs acting as chauffeurs for British students, Demi picked up a group of three girls who were then able to interview her on their ride home from school.

After grilling her about her networth (she refused to answer) and how many tries it took her pass her driving test (just one, but she kind of cheated), one girl inquired, “Is Iggy Azalea’s bum real?”

“Yes…real sexy!” the 23-year-singer joked, before adding, “Yeah, she’s real…her butt’s real…it’s all good. She’s awesome.”
