Demi Lovato Demi Album Review Real Style Network ...

Demi Lovato has grown from a Disney kid to a well rounded young lady right before our eyes. Her growth hasn’t come without its struggles and she has been an inspiration to kids who look up to her for the ways she has battled her demons. On previous album Demi Lovato has addressed these problems through her music and garnered the respect of critics, fans and parents for her talent and maturity. While the rest of her peers were singing Disney songs, Demi Lovato addressed her life issues.

Now with a spot on at The X Factor mentor table under her belt and her issues under control, it seems like Demi Lovato wants to have some fun in her music like all of her friends. The problem is, on her Demi album, Ms. Lovato has risked all of the credit she gained to get there. Demi doesn’t really have any heart in the songs. All of the music on this album feels hollow in comparison.

Demi starts off strong with the very catchy “Heart Attack” single. Unfortunately, that song sets the theme for the whole album. Too many of the songs are about wanting to find a man, party it up, and losing your boyfriend. Youth just wanting background music to dance to are going to love it, but once you get to know the lyrics you will be missing something.

Demi Lovato still sounds great. She has the kind of singing talent that can last, we just hope she puts more of herself into the songs next time.
